Gibson SG Supreme "57" Reviews 5

I aquired this beautiful Guitar for about $1800.00 from Guitar Center in Roseville Michigan. After I picked it up I couldn't find any other Gibson Model Les Paul or SG Guitar that could get the same tone with such an ease to play, Not to mention the Custom looks.

I love the angled headstock. I hate flat headstocks, or having to deal with a tree. The SG Supreme has the Les Paul Sound and Feel without the added weight. The 57 humbuckers have a thick Creamy sound that is great for Blues or Power Rock. And like I said before the Custom binding, Inlays and AA Maple Top are very sharp too. You can't leave out the two octave neck either. This by the way, puts the Pickups slightly closer togeather and makes it hard to get the same sounds on any other SG type Guitar.

I don't like the fact that it doesn't have a pickgaurd. Although Gibson did Send me one Free of Charge to mount myself.

Excelent, so far. Minus where the finish near the corner. It seams to wear more easily than you would expect.

A great Buy! A Rock Solid Machine.I got such a good deal on this guitar too. And it came with my choice of SKB or Gibson Hardshell Case.
